𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐲𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 are a benign tumour that are derived from skin 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬, which are cells that pick up weird foreign proteins and show them to the immune system for identification. In the skin, these cells are specifically called 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬.

𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐦 is a parasitic disease caused by a roundworm called 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐬. These worms like to live in the heart (hence the name of the disease) and in the 𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 (major vessel going from the heart to the lungs), and can get up to 30cm long!

𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚 𝐥𝐮𝐩𝐢 is a type of 𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐞 (round worm) that invades into the esophagus, forming a 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚, a round nodule of inflammation.

𝐇𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 is characterized by 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, meaning proliferation of bone on the outside of existing bones. This proliferation affects the long bones of the limbs primarily.

𝐅𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦 is when a piece of 𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 (the main component of the discs between our spinal vertebrae) breaks off and enters the blood stream. From there, it forms an 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐬, or a foreign material in the blood, which can block blood flow.

𝐏𝐲𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚 is a 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 (pus-forming) infection of the uterus, characterized by the accumulation of massive amounts of pus within the uterus.
