๐Œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ ๐›๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ are bony formations in the ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ (the membrane that holds the intestine in place). These bones are not supposed to be there, so this is a form of ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐š๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐š (one cell type replacing another).

๐‡๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ž๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ง๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž is also known as ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ง๐ž๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ. Putting both of these names together, you get a liver disease (hepato-) affecting the skin (cutaneous) that causes cell death (necrolytic).

๐๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ก๐ฒ๐ ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐š means short (brachy-) mouth (gnath-). Usually this term refers to shortening of the ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž (lower jaw), however it can also refer to shortening of the maxilla (upper jaw).

๐‚๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ฌ are collections of ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ that form large, tumour-like nodules. We most commonly see these in the brain!

๐†๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ข๐›๐จ๐ฆ๐š literally means โ€œcotton tumourโ€, which is pretty accurate to what they are! Gossypibomas are when a piece of ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ ๐š๐ฎ๐ณ๐ž is inadvertently left in the animal during surgery.

๐†๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐›๐ฅ๐š๐๐๐ž๐ซ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐œ๐จ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž is a condition where the ๐ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐›๐ฅ๐š๐๐๐ž๐ซ, the storage sac for bile from the liver, becomes full of mucus-like bile instead of the normal fluid bile!

๐Š๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ž is more accurately known as ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ. This is a big long term that basically means the dorsal spinous processes, the long bones sticking out of the top of the vertebrae, begin to contact each other. This can be very painful!
