Case 12: Zoey

A long-time client brings in her older dog Zoey after finding several small lumps on her skin that are oozing small amounts of fluid. She mentions that she first noticed them after they got back from their hiking trip to the Great Lakes.

Physical Exam
Zoey is QAR on presentation. She has several small nodules on her back that are draining serosanguineous fluid. Her popliteal, axillary and submandibular lymph nodes are enlarged. Her respiratory rate is 40bpm, with harsh lung sounds and slight abdominal effort. Her heart rate is 20bpm with no abnormal sounds. Her temperature is 40ºC (104ºF). Zoey coughs a few times during her examination.
