Case 2: Frankie

A 12 year old Poodle named Frankie presents to your clinic in mid-August for hair loss across most of its body. The dog is a former show dog so the owner is quite distraught about all the missing hair! She also tells you that Frankie doesn’t seem to be handling the hot weather very well, as he’s been panting a lot and drinking tons of water.
