A 3‑year‑old neutered male ferret is presented for evaluation of progressive lethargy and weight loss over a 2‑month period. Physical examination reveals poor body condition, palpable hepatomegaly, and splenomegaly. Neurologic examination shows mild hindlimb ataxia. Serum chemistry reveals increased total protein, and serum protein electrophoresis confirms a marked hypergammaglobulinemia.
